Very creative putting the tv above the piano. Good use of space. Agree with jmm. Your walls need art that you love. What do you love? The sea, horses, cities,portraits, abstract, color, black and white?

Consider separating the piano and the TV, moving the piano to the left or right and putting the TV over a TV console, low bookshelf or something similar. Then eliminate/shift other pieces of furniture as needed. It will be tough to make art look good on that wall with the big “centerpiece” (piano plus TV) you have there now.

For more traditional homes with a soft palette, I'm a big fan of botanical print groupings. Find a series you like and get them framed in gold. Simple frames; not too ornate.

I agree with the idea of needing to separate the piano and TV... I would consider creating custom built ins on that wall where the piano and the tv can look deliberate.. heres a couple pics with the idea... ignore the fireplace in the pic and but you get the idea hopefully. also I wouldnt center the piano between shelving units, rather create an unit with the piano on the left and the tv and shelving on the right of the piano.

I'm liking the idea of possibly moving the piano to the left with a round mirror over it. The tv has to stay where it is because it's wired in. Does putting a long shelf under the tv that esxtends to the right make any sense?

Art layered on both sides of piano to the ceiling with a fig tree i the corner. Move your bench on wall right side of TV. Coffee Table, chair and sofa to create conversation area. Art to your liking of course. Happy designing.

that makes sense, but you may need multiple shelves depending on where you put the shelf and what items you put on it.. because your tv is high, and the piano will be to the left and is a heavy looking piece, the shelf or shelves will need to balance the bottom half of the piano... assuming you are talking about a floating shelf...
