I have no idea. I do have different kinds of plants under different kinds of lights. Could this possibly be damage from light burn? Might it have spent some time touching the bulb or too near it? Guessing around. I have florescents and a 2000W LED. Under the 2000W if plants are too near, they can yellow and bronze on the surface of the leaves. Other than that, I watered a Cylindrica once at the wrong time ( a little cool, too few sunny days) and got some that looked like this. Regards, granniemarie.

Thanks Shana. I don't know. It's only 2500-3200 lm and it's 45" away from the top of the plant. I'm wondering if I'm letting it go too long between watering (1 month)? It's completely dry when I water it.

I felt the yellow tip two days ago and it was starting to get soft so I cut the tip off.

I kept one leaf of the cylindrica. It has a pup. I gave no water at all all winter. It has channels in the leaves, but no yellowing, browning. I don't know if this is a good plant for me. I like to fuss a little more.
