Width of room?

I would like to create a similar set up on my home but I can't decide how much space I need between the desk and opposite wall. Does anyone know what the width of the room is (or willing to venture a guess?)? Thanks.

This home office nook is 6'-6" wide x 8'-0" long. The desk is 24" deep and its good to have at least 42" of space to the rear wall behind the chair. Hope that helps!
