My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How does the price of ash wood compare to pre-treated cedar? Price per/sq? Looks like there are no knots in the ask wood. Is that correct?

    The thermory ash decking will typically cost about 4 times the price of Western Red Cedar. Keep in mind it is a hard wood not a soft wood and has been kiln dried to prevent any checking and twisting. It looks just like a hardwood floor when installed. No knots at all and installed using a hidden clip system, so no visible fasteners. Quite tricky to install in order to get a professionally finished looking deck. But well worth the end result....
