Where are you located? JM's with very fine, narrow foliage like that - linearlobum/bamboo leaf types - are not well suited for dry, arid, hot weather and lots of wind.

I am in North Texas. By all reports Red Cloud grows great around Oklahoma City which is about the same weather as us, except they get colder in the winter. This one was a gift from a local nursery wanting me to try it out to see how it does here. If it doesn't take than that's no biggie, but I was looking to give it my best shot. I was just curious for info on it as I haven't been able to find any actual none marketing related information.

What do you need to know about it specifically? It will require the same sort of planting conditions and care as any other JM - well drained and slightly acidic fertile soil with consistent moisture, best with protection from hot afternoon sun and any wind and forms an upright, 8-10' tall small tree with a narrower than wide canopy.
