Okra, eggplant, southern peas (cowpeas- black eye peas), might be able get in some regular bush beans too. Good luck!

You could plant tomatoes. Too late to start from seed but big box stores have a nice variety of plants. We tend to get only a few regular size tomatoes per plant in the NE FL area but cherry type tomatoes do great. peppers should work well if you buy plants.

be sure to amend your soil. Veggies really dislike our mostly sand soil. I compost heavily and add lime to mine and grow all my veggies in tubs. Also regular fertilizing helps a lot. And don’t forget water. Veggies require a lot. For instance tomato plants like at least a gallon per day.
