Hi

I have been trying to germinate an avocado seed in water using the water-toothpick method. I’m in India and it’s summer here with day temperature going up as high as 100F. It’s been 3 weeks since I started this process, I kept the jar outside, in a lighted area but away from direct sunlight. I’m changing the water every other day. After 2 weeks, I noticed some fuzzy looking stuff under the bottom of the seed, and it’s grown a bit by now, is spreading and looks fizzier. I wonder if that is root coming out or is it mold?
