Here are two options we have for layout/ design for converting what formerly was a laundry room into a new en-suite for a bedroom we added. The room is 6 x7 so we have to make smart choices to make the best use of space.

Option one would be a 40.5 x 40.5 square shower with a 30-32 inch vanity. This gives biggest shower space but is a fun bold design with the shower being the focal point (I will post pics below)

Option two would be a 38 x 38 neo angle frameless glass corner shower (I know it looks like a bath on layout but it’s not) which gives the option to flip the vanity and do a 36 inch. This option gives more floor space but loses 2sqft in the shower. It would also have nothing stopping the eye or breaking up the space visualy so would appear larger. The larger vanity allows more storage within but then again the smaller vanity allows more room for other storage solutions.

Option 1 is slightly less expensive than option 2.
