npv monarch caterpillars

I have 3 milkweed plants outdoors with caterpillars. 1 of them definitely has NPV and my cats are shriveling & a couple turned to black liquid. Assuming I should euthanize all of them on that plant & cut all the leaves off? Clean plant in bleach solution after they are off? Need advice fast!
