Is this an entryway? What was the intent of the space originally?

This is the kitchen

I like that idea! Photo suggestions?

Extend the pantry? Images--reach-in pantry.

Might you want a wine fridge under the desk area? You might be able to close it in to look like it was intentional.

I was thinking of a wine fridge! I love my wine!

Well, there you go! You may even have enough room for two!

If a wine fridge works for you, go for it! Add the fridge on the bottom with a rack on top for wines you don't want to refrigerate. Add a pretty tray to the other counter with a carafe and a few glasses. Use the cabinets above to store more glasses. Or an area like this combines both wine and coffee!

The coffee bar/ wine bar looks like a winner....I was thinking a library by removing all the shelves, possibly turntable music area with a pair of lounge chairs and day bed for sunny naps and cuddling with kids while reading to them.....

The pendant light suggest some sort of breakfast table. A cute bistro table and chairs from the patio department could work with a bar or coffee bar. Our kids' old dorm fridges are our mini bars. One of those should be small enough to fit under the desk. Booze to one side and caffeine to the other and you can work all day and party all night.
