Accent is a focal point. What is the mirror going to reflect that is the first thing you figure out before buying any mirror. How big is the foyer I ask because to me a small bench in a 2 storey space is not good proportion. Also your foyer is the entrance to your home and should be awesome. I would look at console that in shallow with a huge piece of art above it and if you need a bench then silde it under the console.

The mirror will reflect the staircase. The bench is across from a round table, so that's why I didn't put a console table in here. The length from the staircase to the wall is 8.4' and the foyer is 12' in front of the staircase. Ceiling height is about 18'

Thank you! I will definitely check out that mirror! I totally agree with the table groupings, but with quarantine I haven't been able to shop for anything for the table, just used what I had at home to style it.

Melissa - post link to your dilemma or exact name. We can find it and comment. I am not crazy about that round table. This is pretty narrow space. You need to keep 3’ open for walkway so I would not do bench on that wall. What about a tufted beautiful round ottoman tucked into stair space styled in welcoming way with gallery of small art and mirrors on that wall above wainscoting. Big art on other wall.

I agree that the bench is a bit small for the scale of your foyer. Very pretty BTW. My first choice would be to get a grouping for a more artistic flair as in photo below. Orange would be a pop of color or a hide in white. Artwork would be a nice texture addition as well if you cannot find that perfect mirror. Take painters tape and mark your wall to see a visual of the scale. You want balance as the french doors are part of the design. Best of luck.
