They do not look green or yellow on my computer screen. So it's either your paint or your lighting. The paint does not look quite right with your counters, b/s and floor tiles. Can you post a close up of those? They look like they are in the brown / beige family which is not coordinating with your paint.

If your bulbs are not daylight type led 4000k at least, then try the light bulbs first. I am seeing both the yellowish, but on some cabinets, I am seeing white, which makes me think, it could possibly be your lighting. Its the first thing and the least expensive thing to try. Your wall paint color may be throwing it all off too. It doesnt seem to go all that well with your floor tiles.

Yes, but in order to get rid of the beige, you have to replace it. Painting walls gray in an attempt to hide the beige just accentuates it. If you're not going to replace the counters or b/s, and I'm not suggesting that you do, I would find another paint color for the walls in your kitchen to make it a cohesive look.

@Anglophilia im thinking so Too. We just hate beige, my husband says it looks like makeup on the wall. What would you suggest? White Dove on the walls maybe?

Anglo is right. And really that backsplash has to go. It will be the second best thing you do for the kitchen once you repaint. The article I posted explains why you need to. Good luck!

Was this actual Benjamin Moore paint, or did you use another brand paint that was color matched?

Sounds like you've already purchased a range of lightbulbs but I would go into a big box store and check out the overwhelming lighting isle. You have a lot of options out there and that is your offender. Look at the difference of your upper cabinet color (closer to your overhead light) vs. your lower cabinets.

My guess is the lower cabinets are closer to the color you were hoping for.

This kitchen also needs a lot more light. I would remove the ceiling fixture and add 4+ recessed lights in the actual kitchen area.

The yellow color coming through is what can happen when you paint over oak cabinets. I would call an expert painter or a JC Licht to get advise on how to fix the color.

Can you upload a photo during daylight with the lights off? Also, what is the exact paint color of your wall? This will help everyone see the colors better and understand the undertone of the wall paint. On my screen, the wall color looks taupe or with pinky undertones with the light on, which amplifies any yellow. In another photo it appears more blue gray.

You need a lot more lighting and LEDs in 4000K not bright white but actual 4000K and I would suggest a really long LED track light with at least 6 heads.Incandescent 60 watt buls do not come in K ratings only LEDs

That’s because White Dove is in the yellow green color family. And that wall paint is in the purple blue family. The counter is in the brown yellow. The backsplash is in the red tan family. They ALL clash, and most cool grays will clash with all of those.

Lighting won’t fix basic color incompatibility. And every element there clashes with most of the other elements. But the worst is the gray paint and pink brown backsplash. Those have to GO.

You can’t ignore the bones of your home in favor of the latest fad. Imagine if you’d put orange laminate counters in there! That’s exactly what you did by painting things gray and putting in a pink splash. And that gray fad is over. So be glad that the bones of the home can look great when you avoid that trend all together.

Get rid of the splash. Paint the wall a light yellow based tan that works with the cabinets and the counters.

I don’t have an answer, but a question. What color is your trim? Is the same as your cabinets? I do like your cabinet color choice. I do agree work there’s too, I think starting Mohr by changing your wall colors will help.

Trim is white. wall color is Seashell grey by behr I think. we just took down track lighting because I would never turn them on because the daylight led was too harsh

I have White Dove Cabinets, they come off rather creamy to me too, although I didn't want stark white. I had Gray Owl BM walls and was having walls repainted a couple of days ago, painter made a mistake and paint SW Agreeable Gray instead! They of course offered to repaint but family Said they like the AG better, so I had them paint the same up the stairway and large loft room instead. Im no color expert so Im hoping the AG looks as good with my cabinets and quartzite countertops!! I have a subway tile that I found from someone on here that goes really well with WD cabinets. Subway is classic and timeless IMO. I have 5 recessed lights in my kitchen and also tried several bulbs, LED looked to bright and sterile to me, but I my give them another try! Sorry I can't help with suggestions, but will be following your post to hear what others recommend.

Check out BM Revere Pewter. Its a warm gray. Its dark enough to make your cabinets look whiter. Lots of discussion and photos regarding White Dove cabinets and Revere Pewter walls on the web.

I have seen agreeable gray and found it a gorgeous color. Wondering if Laurie Wise will find it compliments her white dove cabinets and makes them look less creamy.

Two pretty colors you might want to try for your walls are BM Manchester Tan and BM Hazy Skies. The Manchester Tan is a beige, but it's got just a hint of gray in it an looks really fresh and pretty, not like makeup at all. Hazy Skies is a greige, that can sometimes look a little greenish, but it's just a really pretty overall color.

We feel your frustration. But don’t start painting test colors on the walls! Make paint samples on foam board or poster boards and look at them for a while. I like the colors suggested by Open House Home Staging. Just google Manchester Tan. I agree it is so fresh and pretty and I think it works with your existing elements, golden floor, creamy cabinets. That’s all that matters.

When stores reopen, go to a real lighting store for expertise. Also, an electronic dimmer can make bright LED’s easier to live with.

I have the same issue as OP. Bones of the kitchen in the house are beige/tan/brown and I hate it. Repainted cabinets off white and walls grey and it doesn’t go with the tuscany style finishes.

Can you recommend Greige paint colors that could work? I can See that cream/tan would work so much better for the kitchen itself but problem is kitchen is smack in the middle of the house and I absolutely don’t want cream or tan in the house. The grey looks soo pretty in the eat in nook area with our custom white and grey bench nook and table, our living room has charcoal blue couch, light grey rug., white and grey marble coffee table, white and grey tile fireplace....so I cant slap tan on the room as than entire living room won’t match. Any ideas?
