My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Are those real rocks on the shower floor?

    These are the first rocks I've seen that look like loose, probably because of the grout color? Most have light grout that really changes the look. Could you share the manufacturer of these rocks and the grout color? thinking of using all over our small master bath floor including curbless shower. Thanks!

      Yes, they are river rocks placed on a mesh frame made especially for a tile application.

      Did you use a pan under the rock or build it in place to achieve the curbless style?

      The contractors did not use a pan. I believe they dug into the concrete to create a slope to drain the water and laid down the waterproofing material underneath the stones.

      You can install pebble tile over existing tile, however it is recommended otherwise. You would need to add a latex additive to the thin set to allow a little flex in effort of not cracking the existing tile, and lay the Pebble Tile like normal.
