Hi Shelly, where are you located (nearest big city, state). We can suggest similar plants that would work best in your environment to achieve that look rather than trying to get an exact match of the photo. I agree that the white shrubs are roses.

That would be great! I live in north central Texas (almost Oklahoma). I researched and learned that I live in growing zone 7, if that helps. I really like how all of the shrubs/ plants are small because I don’t want to cover our house. We are pulling holly hedges today because they do just that. I’m afraid to replace them with a plant that will do the same thing.

They're small now. And too far away from the camera to identify here. Really what might work best is seeing what local outlets you might use have first and then deciding which kinds you want.

For the rose I would choose Clothilde Soupert (great disease resistance, won't out grow the space).

For the "wispy" plant I'd use gaura Siskiyou Pink.

For the front edging plants I'd choose a mix of vinca and dustymiller.

Since this house does not have an exposed foundation and has architectural details that extend nearly to the ground it might be best to not plant anything at its base. (Which would be why shrubs only 4 ft. tall appeared to be swallowing it). Rather to have vertical garden features - including planting - to look at and enjoy elsewhere on the property, far enough from the house to not hide any of it. Or at least not the front of it.

Yes, what a beautiful house! Maybe just plant something very low and evergreen along the foundation. Lirope or holly fern come to mind. Miniature roses might be nice.
