If your clothes moths are the same as ours they only eat materials of animal origin. They would not touch seagrass and would only eat furniture if it had wool, fur or silk coverings. in my experience they unerringly find your most expensive items and chew through in the most obvious place possible, like right on the breast of a cashmere cardigan. Check anything made of silk, cashmere, mohair or fine lambswool. They also go for wool carpets. look under beds or in crevices at the edges of rooms.

Are you sure they are clothes moths?

Good question. They are very small, about the size of a long grain rice grain, and a dusty sort of pale beige. Not sure you'd be able to see them on the ceiling of a dark hall.
