Thanks everybody! It’s hard waiting for the roses but there are lots of other plants to enjoy right now. Not to mention I should focus on WEEDING instead pf

Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden with us Oursteelers. I envy your climate there, it’s such a lush environment. Forsythia is in bloom here so spring is starting.... and not a moment too soon for me!

Jenn, no hijacking! I love ALL flower talk!

In regards to the yellow rhodie. It was here when we moved here but it is one hundred percent NOT Capistrano.

I planted that one and it is BLUGH!

So when looking for yellow rhodies be careful!

I can give a pic of anyone needs it!

OMG that's beautiful! Love the rhododendron. We don't have those here so it makes me love them even more.

So green and beautiful, great photos. I especially like the Bleeding Heart. I grow them in pink and white, delightful in spring time.

I bought a bag of 2 Bleeding hearts from Walmart, nothing. So I bought another bag of 2 from Fred Meyer and shared one with my sister, nothing. It has been a month and I decided to get one already started when what to my amazement did I see? All 3 up and growing. Whoo hoo! Patience is a virtue lol,

Can't type anything via phone, Houzz swallows all the words so they keep disappearing. Meant to put in the names..

Mislabelled was supposed to be Michaelangelo..but clearly not. It starts light yellow, turns pink and then white. All my roses have blackspot and I don't spray- this is the first BS immune rose I have seen. Very healthy

    Orange one is Crazy love.

Pink with spiky edges is Gene Boerner(was a body bag from Aldi last that got planted in ground). Next ones are Savannah, Ms Congeniality. Love Alchymist but it's a one time bloomer, it does put on a great show..:)

Beautiful spring pics everyone. New growth in the North looks so delicate and tender, not sun baked like in the south.

    111plisa,

’Mislabeled’ sure looks like Mme Anisette to me.

BenT, I was just looking at Kenneth's pics of Madame Anisette- his whole plant looks like a wedding bouquet, truly outstanding. Exactly the same look ,color, foliage and growing pattern. But I heard someone say that MA is very fragrant, mine has slight fragrance nothing on the level I have heard of.
