I guess you're new at this huh? Super common plant, I'm surprised one can actually buy a piece on Etsy,

It takes time for a plant to settle in & start growing. Several weeks to a month isn't unreasonable at all.

Unfortunately, you didn't know, but uprooting it as you did, just set it back by telling it to start all over. Pulling it up from the soil just broke the tiny little root hairs forming on the new roots as the plant settles in.

I suspect you've got too big a pot if all you've got is a single cutting. Pls use the smallest possible pot (like a 3" pot) w/ a drainage hole. If the the soil is moist don't water it again. Then put it in its spot & leave it alone for at least a week. Then maybe mist a bit, but don't water it again.

PS: What you bought is an EXTREMELY stingy piece literally 1 node, not a lot to work w/.

If mine, I'd trim those roots down to just on inch long, repot it & then leave it alone. Long roots don't help here & may even slow things down. However long it takes is how long it takes.

You're welcome. Yes, pls trim the roots down to 1" long as suggested & repot it. But pls. don't lift it out again.

Pot size matters 'cause larger volumes of soil will hold water LONGER than newly rooting plants can take it up, increasing the likelihood of rot. Plants need air as well as water & when the soil doesn't drain out most of the moisture, it stays too wet for the plant to get air. I'm sure that can be explained better, but that's why.
