I really can’t figure out what good window treatments are for this large window in my living room.

The window looks out to a courtyard that is the entryway to other property owner says units. I want to have privacy but still be able to see out. I also have a small dog that goes nuts when he sees people walk by - the bottom panel needs to be covered somehow. I thought about frosting it but I don’t want it to look strange with window treatments on top of it.

I can’t figure out if I should do roller shades, solar shades (the courtyard doesn’t get a lot of sun), a cellular shade or even plantation shutters. I would like to keep the top open if possible, but have privacy with a view at eye level. I also don’t want it to look busy - a clean look is preferred. I also would like to have treatments that I can duplicate in some way for the sliding glass door that is in the adjacent room for consistency.
