Green Tower Boxwood Falling

Hello -
I have a property with what I believe is a green tower boxwood that has grown to a height of 7-8’ but never spread out much and is beginning to fall over; unable to support itself. What is the best course of action here? Can I prune down the top 2-3’ or do I need to just continue to stake it up? Thank you in advance!
