Is in front of the window the only place for bed to go? Is there any other furniture to guide color scheme, soft furnishings?

I have the wall on left I can move the bed there

Can you add more photos? Where's the door? other windows? closet? etc

I'm not a pro but may help others when chiming in.. Do you have art you want to incorporate or a direction you want to go in (nature, bohemian, tropical,). It's somewhat of a blank canvas. I personally could see layers of white bedding and then adding color in art, plants, etc

Like the bed. Rug works really well with it.

If the headboard needs to be in front of the window, then use a double black metal curtain rod the full width of the headboard, add white sheers on the inner rod all the way across the window and add enough drape panels to easily cover the wall beside the window on both sides -- might need two pair of traditional width.

Choose drapes and bedding as a matched set -- keeping the rug in mind ... so ... not too "busy" -- a solid color in a light/medium shade would work. You might consider your favorite shade of gray for your drapes and bedding rather than overwhelm the room with too much black or consider a darker green than your walls.. A queen bed spread or comforter would cover more of the side of the bed than a traditional full bed sized covering.

Do add a pair of pillow shames to match your bed cover. Then you could add a second pair of pillow shams to add a different color. If your bedding is all white with two white shams, you could add two black shams or choose a bold shade of green.

If there is an electrical outlet behind the dresser, consider a pair of wall sconces on each side of your mirror -- perhaps the same black metal as the bed.

Can you put head of bead where dresser is so that when you walk into the room you see the side of the bed? then nightstand on each side. And dresser across from bed. That way you can walk by window. Position rug so that there's enough on each side of bed for feet to step onto. I think white fluffy bedding and white sheer or linen drapery would look nice. Is the dresser and nightstand black or a really dark wood?

If you move the headboard of the bed to the wall on the left, how will that affect your walking about the room -- will you need to walk around the bed to get to anything else in the room and how awkward would that be given the size of the room ... the reason you put the headboard at the window to begin with likely matters.

I thought the bed in front of window gave the room easier access around the room

I would devise a set of three Roman shades dropping from the ceiling. The one over the window would be a "working"shade. The two flanking shades could be non working, just giving the illusion. Two things would be accomplished. Covering for the window and next to it some softness to a room that is pretty but has a cold feel. You could use a ticking stripe in a green color. This would be a neutral off of your ststement rug. Maybe even a toiie fabric but that may be too much when considering your rug , which incidentally is not my normal taste but I love it!! The bed is also something I would bring into my own home. You have a good start. Please Post pics when you come up with your decision.

I love linen bedding! I would go with it with natural color and bamboo blinds. I would replace mirror (looks cheap) with wall art or more interesting one.

Or if you want to bring some color, pick it from your pillows.

If you keep the bed in front of the window, the window treatment (full-length drapes in a print which includes pale green, white and a little black, plus a fourth color) should be just a bit wider than the bed’s headboard. Avoid extra pillows on the bed because you will have to put them somewhere outoftheway when you want to sleep.

If you want green pop up, then get green accents. I would go with calm, muted green. And I would avoid too much pattern. If you go with pattern on pillows, then no any one on drapes.

Love Celery Girls first photo for drapery and blinds. Love the mirror in her second picture - Put art elsewhere in the room as one needs a mirror over the dresser to see. I don't like what appears to be a yellow cabinet in the room. If needing more storage you need to find a better solution.

love the idea of making a statement at your window with curtains and bamboo shade. another option is to go more neutral in color... white curtains, white bedding with black and brown accents.... accents with texture... heres some ideas.... picture of bedroom is for the color story and bedding vibe.
