I’m about to paint my dining room, which has traditional wainscoting on the lower third of the wall. Looking for prep and painting tips. Should I wash with a deglosser like TSP first? Sand? I’ll use Benjamin Moore paint. Do I need to prime if the wainscoting was already painted in a light color and the paint already has primer? Thanks in advance for any tips you can share!
