I keep thinking about you & hope you are ok. How long will you be staying in HI? I hope as you can come out of quarantine, there are loving people there to help support you & your family. Take good care.

Thank you all. I will check back in after we are safely on the ground. I want to hold my DD and the babies. They are growing so fast ! The baby boy will be 8 months on Tuesday and the little girl was 30 months on Friday. c

Safe travels home. My son is also turning 8 months on Tuesday -- has the same birthday as your grandson I guess. It is a wonderful age. Hope your homecoming is full of baby kisses that bring you joy in this sad time.

We just landed in LAX. Grabbing a quick bite at Starbucks the only place open in this terminal. Thank you all for watching over us. c

So glad the first leg is over C. Safe travels to the East Coast and a sweet reunion with your DD and grandchildren.

Landed in Atlanta on time and bags made it too. DD is running late so we are waiting. Amazing lack of virus awareness here in the airport! Everything open and cafes full and no masks. Travelers seem to be only ones masked as we get off planes and wait for planes but everyone else is sittin close eating and chillin.... will be glad to get back to our lit town in VA . Thank you again for accompanying me on this long heartbreaking journey. c

Trailrunner - I just want to say that I’ve never had children so it’s impossible to fully comprehend your loss. But I can feel in your sharing the immense grief and pain surrounding the joy you received from your son. My heart goes out to you and your family. May that joy shine through at this time and carry your family through this process.

Trailrunner, I didn't really know much about this site but someone else was looking for it today, so over I came from KT. I have thought of you from time to time, as I so enjoyed photos of the food you and your dh cooked, as well as pictures of your pretty kitchen. I am getting the gist of what happened to you and give you my most sincere condolences and prayers. I hope you find some peace, at home now.

Waking up this morning to “ Dammie yuv you!” as we snuggled in our bed in our granddaughter‘s room was wonderful. One of our DD’s best friends delivered breakfast for all of us as well. So with many tears and hugs we are surrounded by love and support. Thank you all my GW family. c ( Trailrunner)
