My husband and I are renovating our kitchen and a half-bath. In doing so we have closed off one wall and opened up another. The wall we opened up shares walls with a beam and two walls that open into our living room. The beams and walls were all painted with the same light blue colour (best seen in the photo with the couch in the foreground). I am putting in a tile inlay with the same pattern and a very similar colour scheme as seen in the second image.
What I am looking for is a way to apply new colours into our living and dining spaces. I had considered doing a geometric pattern across the walls between the two beams but I don’t want to get too crazy with geometric patterns. I also considered doing a couple of colour sections but am really not sure how to incorporate the beams or break up the spaces visually. All help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
