Bleaching & preserving large driftwood

Hello all.

I grabbed a beautiful piece of driftwood that I would like to turn into a table or bar top with a resin pour. The problem is, it is 8+ feet long by approximately 2 1/2 feet wide. Traditional bleaching/preserving techniques call for soaking the wood.

This isn’t an option due to its size. Anyone have any ideas?
