Several days ago I noticed these big light spots on what I think is Sum and Substance which I thought was only sun damage. This morning after the rain I am seeing widespread fading. What does it look like to those of you who have more experience?

    I too, think it's cold damage. Different hosta show different signs of cold damage. It seems as if this might be the way yellow hosta show damage This is an old photo, but I think it's Sum and Substance, which is now deceased. I went out to look at my Squash Casserole to make sure that it wasn't it. The Squash Casserole shows the same kind of damage today.
