For anyone considering Pomponella

I got Pomponella from palatine roses spring 2019. The first year they grew some and gave me some very ugly blooms. The plant is very very healthy but no foliage can keep a plant in my garden if I don’t like the blooms. This year they have changed to a deeper pink and the tiny pompons are to die for.

There no scent, but perfect health and cute globular blooms makes this one a keeper for me. Sorry for the lighting, the sun is in the background. The clematis is blue angel. Please click to expand.

Here you can see they are small. Sorry for the thrips damage but I am not spraying for bugs this year.
