You need Quartz Renew and an experienced operator. I'd have you sign a waiver that I wasn't responsible for the results and that you acknowledge that the top is ruined and that I can only make it better.

I agree with LWO above, as long as you included instructions for caring for the countertop in written form in the lease.

You shouldn’t need to put “don’t spill drain cleaner on your counters” into any lease to have them not do that. Quartz is darn tough, and only caustic chemicals would do that.

Engineered stone isn't as tough as it's touted.

There are an awful lot of people who have no experience at all with any kind of stone who would have no idea about its durability. They may even have the misconception that it is “bulletproof.”
