Do you wait until Fall to split them? Do you use bulb food when you disrupt the soil? Are they getting enough water?

It is probably late summer - August or so. I do use Bulbtone. Water? IDK. One kind, Pink Bubbles I know is in a dry spot. The other, Medici Prince, was watered regularly but it is in a very sunny spot. Their leaves don't really go brown all summer like some of my dwarf bearded iris do.

It's not uncommon for newly planted iris to take one or two years to produce a bloom stalk. If it goes much past that, I'd dig them up and replant. I had to do this with Batik. I planted them and two years later they still didn't bloom but the plants multiplied. So I dug them up, split them apart and replanted and voila I got blooms.
