that again. Here is Lavender Crystal to the right of Rose Gilardi.

Same light, same watering, same treatment with coffee grounds. I did see a few slugs on the bottom of the pot, but that’s not unusual and i doubt they could be fatal.

I’d hate to lose this lovely rose. What should/can I do? Thanks all, Sylvia

How did you apply the coffee grounds, how old were they, and how much did you use? Coffee grounds are quite acidic and have the potential to damage rose roots. They are best used in a garden setting (in the soil) rather than in pots, because the soil volume in a pot is small, and doesn't have any of the buffering of a surrounding soil mass, like the garden would.

Has it ever dried out at any point? Have you used any other products on it (fertilizer, pesticide)? Does this pot have drain holes? What kind of soil mix did you use?
