Cooling Load Calculations

Hi, I am looking to calculate the cooling load needed for each room in a central air install. Can someone point me to a book or similar documentation which goes over how to do this, taking into account windows, # of people, appliances, etc. I see information on the web in varying forms but no centralized reference that contains everything (all relevant coefficients).

You can buy the residential version of HVAC Calc for $49. i have never used it but it has gotten good reviews. It is cheaper than buying the Manual J book and creating your own spreadsheet.

You want a 'Manual J' calculation. I have used HVAC Calc several times with good results. It's easy to use.

I think HVAC Calc provides a room by room report.

Thanks - how about CoolCalc? Also provides room by room report ($15 for 5 different reports)
