Home Office Decor - where do I start

I have a spare bedroom in my condo that I will now be turning into a home office as I will be WFH permanently. I am not sure how to start, how to choose a desk and how to make two monitor screens look nice! Here is a picture of the room. I was thinking of painting one of the walls to make the room a bit more inspiring, any thoughts and suggestions about home office decor would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you are in Toronto, and are an interior decorator, would love to hear from you as well.

draw the room to scale and add DIMENSIONS. Show every entry point, the windows and their portion of the wall. All of it

Don't forget to add outlets to your drawing so the location of electronics and lighting can be determined.

In addition to a drawing of the room layout and dimensions, perhaps you can add some more details about how you work. Are you on the computer most of the time? Are you on the phone a lot? Do you need to have a nice background for video conferencing? Do you need a sit/stand desk or will a traditional desk work for you?

One more thing to consider, if you do video conferencing is a nice professional backdrop.

May I suggest making a list of what you need in your office besides the two monitor screens?

Do you need bookshelves? How many linear feet?

Do you need file cabinets? How many linear feet?

How much storage space for office supplies?

I see you have a mirrored closet. Are you going to use that for out of season clothing or can that be converted into shelving for office supplies for half of it and a file cabinet placed in the other half?

Will you be receiving clients for business meetings in that office?

Do you need chairs and side tables and for business meetings in that room?

Besides two monitor, what other electronic equipment will you be using?

    A laptop? A PC? A printer? A scanner? A CPU?

Do you need an L shaped desk or just a straight desk?

Do you want a desk with drawers?

Do you need a bulletin board or a white board to think out projects? Do you want to take out the mirror doors and use the doors for this?

Do you create create video presentations so that you need to block out the light and so need window coverings?

This may sound like a silly question, but how do I draw the room to scale? Is there some website I can use to do this?

I sit at my desk all day and stare at the monitors. I need some more inspiration in the office, would love to have some bookshelves, don't really need drawers in the desk. No bulletin board required. It will just be me in the office and I do a lot of video calls. The closet will be used for clothes storage. I don't really need office supplies, as I am paperless for the most part.
