Hello. I attempting to grow this tree for the patio, but I noticed that recently some leaves have been falling off and the branch that had the leaves on it seem to die. There is new growth and it even produced fruit and flowers (though I removed the fruit since I thought the tree might be too small to be able to carry it well). I’m not really sure what is causing it and advice would be appreciated.

- The plant is watered pretty well. The soil feels wet but not soaking. It has pretty good drainage.

- I did use copper fungicide on it recently as I noticed some powdery mildew in the leaves. I’ve since stopped since the mildew is gone.

- It was fertilized recently (a few weeks ago)

- the bottom twig is what I’m referring to. I just trimmed it maybe 10 minutes ago.
