Skip the mosaic, use the gray in a running bond on the ends of the shower and do herringbone on the large shower wall.

Maybe a really wide stripe ?

Be prepared to thoroughly wipe down the accent after each shower so soap film doesn’t dull the look. Also think about all the grout lines.

Agree with cpartist. Not only is the mosaic too busy, but the little squares and the natural stone floor clash in shape in a way that sets my spine crawling.

You have too much going on. Either go to a high end tile shop and ask for some design advice or hire a designer to help you. You are looking to do a style of shower that is now out-of-date and you will regret it in a little while. It will “feel” ten years older than your bathroom’s actual age.

With the natural rock floor, it is always best to stick to simple, natural textured and colored materials for a zen-like simplicity. Not sure about using marble with it.

Congrats on redoing your bathroom! How much fun to be able to pick out just what you like!

I really like your choice of the floor, the stone pebble look that is made flat on top is a great idea- it looks like nature without hurting your feet the way not flat pebbles can.

I like the gray large tiles too.

Please think carefully about your grout and for sure, have it sealed, and periodically re-sealed so it doesn't get icky looking.

Do you live in an area with hard water?

If so, you might want to think about getting something installed that treats the water before it comes into your home.

That will save no only your tiles and grout, but a whole lot of cleaning time, your laundry, your skin, and even prevents etching on your glassware and china, and in the end saves you money.

I do agree with all the posters here about not using the glass mosaic tile at all.

It is not only dated, its glossy surface really is not consonant with the more subtle look of your other choices.

Here's another thought-

On a prior thread on Houzz a few months ago, and I'm sorry I can't recall which one (maybe another Houzzer can and will cite the URL) a Houzzer showed her shower that had instead of a three shelf niche for shower products, a long single shelf that ran the length of the shower wall.

It looked great, and because it was not "enclosed," there is less chance of getting soap scum and mold, and it is more accessible as it all on one level

Also, if this is your forever home, you might think about installing a towel bar that is also a grab bar.
