Painting the peaks a different color? I wouldn’t want to call attention to my peaks. I mean, they’re ok peaks, but nothing special that merit saying “hey, look at my peaks!” 😉

I would paint the garage door the same color as the siding. It's reading slightly pink-ish on my monitor.

Agree, the garage door reads pink. I would not add shutters or paint the gables.

I would paint your front door and the sidelights a creamy white. Since it's in the shade, the black especially with the light trim isn't working.

Your house has Craftsman style pillars. That style has a lot of wood and natural elements. So bring on the cedar/natural redwood color. I like the idea of a wood look garage door. Go to Houzz photo and look up Craftsman Style exteriors for some ideas

I vote for painting the slats of the peaks and the garage doors in a darker brown to play off the redwood. Replace the garage door with wood when you can. Replace the garage lighting with larger brown lanterns.

The half circle landscaping and the trellis play up the garage side of the house. I would focus the stone landscaping on the far side of the house to lighten that area and provide balance.

Consistent window treatments too. The mini blinds on the second floor clash with the peak slats.

A photo of the whole home would help. I think the house extends out from the first garage. Can we see the whole house?
