Good suggestion! I was tempted to take a sucker to start.

I use an organic product labelled for mites that has food or herbal ingredients. It was available from a garden center. In Calif where I live, only organic products are available. They do not harm the plants.

I have also used Neem but that has been harsh on AVs.

I think I bought it from Sloat's Garden Center in Concord, Calif. Or Orchard Nursery in Lafayette CA.

It seems to be working ok.

I also washed the plants and replaced some of the potting mix. I am not certain the plants had mites. Only about three were affected.

Others that looked "iffy" I simply tossed.

Yes, I agree. I apply the Mite-X faithfully once a week because it does not harm the plants. I hope you can find it.

I had to put it in my own spray plastic bottle I bought from a garden center. The spray bottle it came in did not work. I wear gloves when using it. There is a slight odor that fades quickly.
