Hi, I have a kohler white enameled sink and drain and last fall bought an espresso maker.

I rinse the sink well after cleaning the parts but the white basket strainer has turned slightly off color and I bought a new one. I am now cleaning coffee parts in the laundry room sink but how can I clean the old strainer and prevent this from happening?

I know it's the oil, but how do I get rid of it? Bon Ami every time? Bleach isn't working and I don't think I should use bleach every day.
