I am really not sure what the question is. I have no idea about the door without seeing the exterior of the home. As for painting the front door on the inside and the cabinets I would first change all the lighting to all LEDs in 4000K to mimic bright daylight. That will make your decisions easier as far as color goes. IMO the door should probably be restained to match the new floors. If you are planning anything more I would suggest removing the huge entertainment cabinet to make that space feel much larger and remove some of the clutter. The furniture is all too bulky for the space including the DR table , a counter depth fridge would make the kitchen feel and look larger , get rid of the fake greenery and find a home for all the stuff on the counters. IMO a white instead of ivory for the cabinets will make other decisions easier and I also think the island works like a barrier in that space. Having cabinets painted is very expensive and I always make sure my clients really LOVE their kitchen before spending that money , so make sure that is the case for you too.

We just moved here and haven't done anything except put our current furniture, which we love and is very expensive, in the home. The huge entertainment center is going to be removed and all the cabinets and kitchen gutted and reconfigured. My main question is can we change the inside door color since we are not changing any other trim etc. Other comments are welcome:)))

I would wait until after the kitchen is done before doing anything about the door. I personally like the wood trim, but I generally like wood. After your new kitchen is finished, you will probably have an idea of what you want for the door, and you might can get your kitchen designer to help you out on that.

I think the sight lines into the kitchen are cluttered. What about putting the sofas opposing one another [not behind the DR table]? It would make the space more pleasing to the eye and seem larger. It looks like all the doors are wood stained so you either continue that with the front door or paint out all the trim and doors to a white colour. I think the wall colour clashes with the red tone of the wood. Paint everything a paler cooler tone and you will be surprised that the wood trim etc looks a lot better. I much prefer cooler tones with warmer woods, maybe SW gossamer Gray or Agreeable Gray or edgecomb gray? The paint colour will depend on the direction the rooms face as well.
