Super White is actually a dolomite. It's stronger than marble, but softer than granite. We had samples in our kitchen to test for etching and staining and it did great - and who doesn't wipe up a spill right away anyway? They recommend honing if you don't like to see a few scratches but there is a enough movement that they don't show very easily.. Unfortunately, it's more expensive than carrera, for example.

About 30%...and the less "busy" or grey the more expensive.

When I remodeled our bay house on Tiki Island, adjacent to Galveston, I searched Houston for a white granite and no one had it. Ended up choosing black. i don’t understand why the whites aren’t stocked in Houston, considering how popular the look is.
