Amaryllis problem

I thought I had a fungus due to lots of rain and leaved were wet and spongy. I pulled a bulb and is was half devoured by white maggot looking bugs. I have about 100 and of course they are close. What can I do to stop this infestation?

The only time I've had that issue is when I've had bulbs that had a lot of red blotch and the bulbs had a lot of red, mushy flesh. I usually have a couple bulbs with this problem, if I leave them outdoors over winter. I just pulled a bulb like that a week or so ago. I cleaned off all the red blotch layers, dipped the bulb in bleach water, cut the basal plate to clean off the damaged areas, let the bulb dry and then replanted it.

I use Dominion 2L which kills caterpillars, knat larve, and spider mites that might transfer diseases. Systemics can be difficult buying in some regions like California,.

At the time I purchased 2 years ago, Amazon shipped without any problems but looks like they now geolocation ban my state.

Jody, the dosage on the bottle is 2 tablespoons per gallon IIRC but I use half that every couple months during the growing season.

Maybe I missed this, but are they in the ground or pots. If in pots are the outside in shade or sun and have they been repotted this year? What is you zone?
