Some “new” Old roses

I ended up getting some more old roses today. as hard as it’s been seeing the changes to the Sacramento cemtery, I’m glad the volunteers efforts help so the roses can be distributed to other gardeners to keep them going. I ended up getting Whittle beyer Light pink, cl lady Hillingdon and oneto home saffron. Anyone else get any roses from the cemtery sale?

from left to right is whittle tea,oneto home saffron and lady hillingdon. there was also some aloe Vera plants being offered Which was neat.

Whittle beyer has such a stunning bloom form.

You know Whittle-Beyer is 'Lady Mary Fitzwilliam' right? Here it is, on the Whittle/Beyer family plot:

I betcha her family called her "Lady Mary".
