Tips & Techniques Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Looking for feedback on recent purchases of Cle Tile Carrara tiles. I ordered 4 samples that are on the way. We ordered Carrara tile for our bathroom project from Tile Shop and returned them because they looked nothing like the samples and it was frankly ugly. Cle Tile has told me that they use top of the line Carrara and I can expect to see a soft white marble with delicate gray veining in the full order but they do not take returns so I have to trust the samples and take their word for it.

Anyone recently purchased this for their project and have feedback? Thanks!

You may want to go to the Bathrooms Forum main page and use the search function at the top to search for posts using “marble shower” and read for an hour or two on all the problems people have with it. That is, if you were planning to use marble in the shower. Be sure you know that common bathroom products can mar marble floors and walls and counters, too. If you fully understand marble’s limitations and you embrace etching and using poultices for stains, then go for it. Just not in a shower.

Why not to go the best local tile showrooms in your area that work with high end designers and builders. They can show you the various grades of Carrara marble available and get you current samples as well.
