Sorry but I hate plantation shutters and have no idea why people love them they block light , view and in most cases look way too heavy. Now that you have them you need to post pics from further back to really show what is going on.

After researching, I’m not sure there is an option that doesn’t involve a cut out.

You just need a bit more space. Is there any way to modify that side if done over?

I may try the egg shape to see if it gives a little more space.
