the other problem.. is that you are dealing with tree/shrub time .. and no matter what you plant out there ... its going to be a decade or so for the plants to settle in.. and grow the requisite height ...

finally ... if its seeing in windows.. the solution at the window.. is window films ... which are rather cheap and extremely easy to apply with some soapy water and a squeegee ...
