We need to see pictures of the room and know the wall color, trim color etc.

this is a room w/similar items. what do you think about doing individual, inset woven woods on the triple window? you could add some drapes to ends if you think you need them

I agree with Beth, your choice of blind or shade on each individual window. All her examples would look fabulous. I also agree to hold off on curtain-rod curtains for the time being. It looks like your ceiling is rather high and a curtain rod might add an unpleasant horizontal chop. Without that horizontal chop, the eye continues to be drawn up and sightlines remain more fluid.

So the current furniture in the room is going and you are getting the gray sofa and orange bench and the rug. I hope the new rug is a lot larger than the one you have down because it is too small for the space. with the fray sofa and the orange bench I would keep the window coverings simple. It looks like you may have a lot of homes around you so privacy might be an issue? I think a woven blind on the windows would be nice and if light is an issue they can be lined

so you can control your view .

I would choose a wood tone that is in line with your flooring so likely more the top photo I showed and not the bottom. I then would flank the outside of the bank of windows with long linen drapery panels that are just there for looks. Non operational. You could do these in the orange color of the bench if you want to warm the space up

Mount the curtains as high as you can .

Then bring in some colorful art work of your choice to tie the colors togerther

What are you doing for tables and lamps?

The table is going be a marble table with golden legs . Lights I am still looking around .
Agree the rug is small I might have to return this and buy a bigger one .

Just checking - is the rug in the photo the rug you're trying to match? If so, you need a bigger rug (sorry, not your question I know).

Beth gave great examples. I'd just add that you need to decide what the function will be: privacy? light blocking? purely decorative? and go from there.

I like the blinds that have been suggested. Your rug is way too small. You could do another sitting group and use it for that, but add at least a 9 by 12 or larger to the space.

I would plant some trees about 10 to 15 feet from the fence for shade and privacy. Having the trees a bit closer to the house means you'll get faster results. A native hardwood would be nice.

Yeah that is the rug:( I was hoping I could do a floating rug just in the middle . But I think I messed up on the measurements.

You mentioned you were going to return your rug for something larger and I would suggest shades that better compliment your new furniture and also work with the wall color. Something that feels light and airy With an interesting modern feel

Grey roller blinds are modern, sleek and practical

Add a large piece of art to pull the room together.

A console, mirror and lamp on large wall would be a nice look
