Another view

Richard, I have studied your pictures, They illustrate a research project I have been working on for two years based on something I stumbled on to by chance. No details yet. But, cooperation of those growing plants in the tomato family that suddenly exhibit wilting problems are my interest. I hope that everyone will be patient with me as I watch this Forum daily looking for specific questions.

When I note questions that are of interest to my research I will ask a simple question. Do you make your own compost? I will then ask what kitchen food items do you compost? Only kitchen generated leftovers are of interest to me.

I don’t. we’ve tried but in Southern California it’s difficult.

One of mine looks like this, we discovered that for some reason the pot had quit draining. DH drilled a bunch more holes to try to dry it out but doesn't it figure it's going to rain at least part of every day this next 2 weeks. Can't win for losing :-(
