Hi Matthewgg! I recognize you from the Rocky Mountain Gardening forum. Didn't know you were hoya obsessed as well! I had to look up the ilagiorum. There are so many I do not know and then as soon as I do, I often become obsessed as well. I tried to keep my wishlist short, but I'd really like a variegated obovata.

I do have an Australis Lisa but it's very small so nothing I could cut up yet. I have heard through the rumor mill that Australis Lisa is going to be mass produced in the near future though so perhaps we shall all be able to get a full plant for a decent price!

I had a few hoyas listed locally for sale. I just sold a small Krinkle 8 locally. I could probably make another if you are interested. I do have a blooming multiflora starter also if you'd be interested in it just send me a message.

I also have curtisii that could make cuttings if you are interested in those.

I will say that collecting hoyas is very addictive. But it's better than a lot of addictions. I'll keep telling myself that story! Ha.

Popmama, is that multiflora in leca? I've been top dressing or repotting my cuttings/plants in some orchid bark mix I bought online and it contains leca. Semi-hydro seems to be popular.

Hi Brad. Yes it is. I have pretty good success rooting hoyas in a jar filled with leca and retaining about an inch of water in the bottom of the jar. Once they are fully rooted, I pour the whole thing out (some leca sticks to roots) and pot in soil. I do know of people who grow them solely in leca. I just prefer my selection of pots for the permanent home.

I just bought one from Gardino's yesterday I've been wanting: H. ischnopus!!!

My wishlist is super vague at the moment, it consists of anything I don't have already. Seeing as I only have a few basic one's so far but I think I have everything that gets brought in locally so I'm not really in a position to be picky.

Brad, if you managed to get something from Gardino, you are doing great! I always look at their site but they are always sold out of everything. Post pics when it arrives!

Not only did I find a Hoya ischnopus, but I found a Hoya celata (formerly pubicalyx "White Dragon") on Etsy yesterday!!! That one was near the top of my wish list. Now, if I could only find a cv. Rosita, I'd be a happy clam!

Secret Garden Rare Plants has Hoya cv. Rosita! Of course I bought one ;). My celata is out for delivery today, so I am excited about that. Not a word from Gardino's yet. Must be busy.

It's so exciting! I can't wait to see pictures!

Here's H. ischnopus. Came with a long new vine! Stuck it in this cache pot and had this old trellis from when I bought a clematis some years ago. Fungii used to grow on it at one point (she's a shell of her former self).

Just checked the status of cv. Rosita and it's out for delivery!
