It’s a new one for me, too. I didn’t know of this one-it hasn’t yet percolated up north here. Their other introductions that I have do die back in winter.

One of the parents is Hylotelephium, another is Orostachys (the name xSedoro is incorrect, it should be xHylostachys). Both are hardy and deciduous, and other Sunsparklers are, so I would think this one is too...

Rina, not necessarily. If the Sedum gave the pollen to create this intergenetic hybrid, I think it's correct to list that lineage first.

IIRC, first part (or whole) of name of one parent and second part of name other parent combine to give it the name. I was not questioning which is 1st and which is 2nd parent...I could be wrong so maybe I should check...

xSedoro is made of first parts of names of both parents (Sedum and Orostachys) and that is not correct...Hylotelephium, that was used as one parent, is a genus that used to be part of genus Sedum...

Rina, I haven’t doubt the time to plant it in ground. I’m definitely putting this in the front part of my flower bed.
