I have an irrigation system on my porch with drip emitters and a couple of hanging basket attachments. I have always used a hose from the house water supply. However, the faucet for the house is so far away I have to run two hoses to cover it. So I am looking into installing a rain barrel near the porch and attaching a pump to create the necessary water pressure. The water needs to travel about 30 feet, planters range from hanging baskets to 2-3 feet off the ground. There are many pumps out there so I was wondering if someone has a recommendation a light duty pump that can achieve this? Thanks.
