Finally hostas along the new fence...

Last year I built and put up the fence and hauled dirt from my sideyard project to along the fence. I got about 25 hostas planted out fairly early this spring. Most of mine are commons but I am happy with them. I also divided my big Gold Standard that was in too much sun and got 6 big divisions that really hold the newer ones together. I lost a lot of dirt on that bank during the 4 day 4 night deluge we got last month so have had to haul more dirt. Some of the ones to the back may have sunk and may have to be lifted. I also increased the depth of the bed (oh boy - more hostas!) - glad I did that before I dug for the edging. Along way to go but getting there. Got another 60 feet of edging to put in besides the 70 I have already started.

Just for fun! Praying for more hostas!

I have no discipline when it comes to marked down plants. Glad I got them home before the mid 90Fs we had this weekend. Tags say Dream Weaver and Drinking Gourd (I am assuming Abiqua) behind. They look terrible now from being in full sun and unwatered but will be much better next year. Also a peachfrost heuchera and some Green Velvet boxwoods.
