Best temperature for curing onions

I just harvested over 300 onions and am trying to decide where the best place to cure them would be. Here in Redding, CA, it is very dry and will be over 100 degrees every day for the foreseeable future with highs reaching 110 this week. Is this too hot to cure on a shaded back porch? The only alternative is bringing them indoors where we keep the temperature at 78. Which is the better option?
